The Horstmann Technique is a simple yet profound therapy. It includes the Ileosacral release, arm, neck & shoulder release and the foot release. It was developed by Australian natural therapist Trish Trowbridge. She and other practitioners are discovering this exciting new healing modality can lead not only to positive structural changes, but also to the release of emotional and spiritual blockages. The Horstmann Technique is a remarkable process for helping clients of all ages to release a variety of body/mind presenting symptoms.

How Does It Work?
Trish believes that unresolved or blocked negative experiences and emotions sink down and become trapped as a distorting energy mass in the sa
cral or lower back area finally creating pain and possible disease. The ileosacral part of the technique can facilitate the release of this somatically constricted energy, sometimes providing immediate symptomatic relief. The arm, neck and shoulder work can release many of the more current structural problems of the connective tissues of the shoulder girdle. The foot release is a unique, simple and effective technique for residual releasing of the body through the subtle energy reflexes of the foot. The actual technique involves the practitioner holding a series of energy points on the client's body while rotating their arm, leg or foot. It is gentle and non-invasive and appropriate for both adults and children.

Trish received the basic instructions for the technique in a series of powerful visions and has been using and perfecting the technique in her clinic, teaching it across Australia and overseas. She soon found her clients recovered from a wide range of problems much more quickly than was expected. Trish advocates a pro-active attitude towards change and realignment of body, mind and spirit and believes the Horstmann Technique facilitates this because of the potential for deep physical, psychological and spiritual shifts that can take place.

What Can I
Expect?
|
This technique is performed with the client lying down on a massage table fully dressed in soft clothes. Deep changes may occur in one session, but more lasting results will be experienced with a series of treatments. The sessions are generally an hour in length.
